Pandanan Beach sits on Lombok's west coast with soft white sand and calm, gently sloping waters—unusual for this side of the island, which typically has brown sand. Green hills and coconut palms line the shore, and you can see Gili Trawangan in the distance. It's a solid family beach for swimming and lounging. Along the waterfront, traditional warungs serve grilled fish straight from the sea, plus grilled aubergine with sambal and moringa leaf soup. An hour's drive from Mataram puts it within easy reach for a day trip.
