Mawun Beach is a horseshoe-shaped bay on Lombok's south coast, tucked between two green headlands with soft white sand and turquoise water. The calm central section is safe for swimming, while both ends have surf breaks. Entry is IDR 5,000. Unlike busier neighbors like Kuta Mandalika or Selong Belanak, Mawun stays relatively quiet and undeveloped—just a handful of warungs and beach loungers, no big resorts. Located 8 km from Kuta and about 45 minutes from the airport, it's an easy stop on a south coast road trip.
