Bara is a bakery and pizzeria in Kuta Lombok with an in-house operation that handles everything from pastries to wood-fired pizzas. Mornings mean coconut croissants and cinnamon buns paired with proper cappuccino. Evenings shift to wood-fired pies—the mushroom pizza has a crispy-chewy crust worth watching them make. They also do less conventional stuff like burnt pumpkin and tempeh. Wednesday brings a 2-for-1 pizza deal and disco nights. The space has a pool, live music, and good cocktail happy hours. Service gets high marks, and regulars clearly can't stay away.
