Built between 1675 and 1700 by Chinese merchant Don Juan Yap, this two-story coral stone and wood house sits in Cebu City's historic Parián district. Traditional bahay na bato architecture defines the space: open-air garden, second-floor windows, and a sloping roof. Family descendant Val Mancao San Diego maintains the house, which is protected by the National Historical Commission and displays a fascinating collection of historical artifacts.
