About
Sunset Town (Thị trấn Hoàng Hôn) is a purpose-built resort and entertainment district at An Thoi, the southern tip of Phu Quoc, opened at the end of 2023. Designed to evoke an Italian Riviera village, it layers pastel buildings, terracotta roofs, cobbled lanes, piazzas, and a clock tower around a waterfront promenade that faces due west — making it the island's premier place to watch the sun go down. Its showpiece is the Kiss Bridge (Cầu Hôn), a sculptural pedestrian bridge that splits into two arms reaching toward each other over the sea, designed so their tips almost touch like a kiss. Evenings bring a packed programme: a nightly fireworks display, free street performances and water-puppet shows, a beachfront night market, and the large-scale multimedia 'Kiss of the Sea' show that combines lights, water, and projection. It's also the boarding point for the Hon Thom cable car, so the two are usually visited together.
