Temple Tree Resort converts restored Malaysian heritage houses—some 80 to 120 years old—into a boutique hotel on Pantai Cenang. Guests stay in one or two-bedroom suites filled with handcrafted details, antique furnishings, and high ceilings, or book entire heritage homes with soaring timbers and intricate woodwork surrounded by tropical gardens. The new Ipoh House Collection adds five contemporary rooms with modern comforts and local flora-inspired wallpaper, opening July 2026. Paloh Restaurant & Bar, housed in a restored 100-year-old building, serves Malaysian heritage cuisine. Packages start at RM1,140 for three nights.
