Phra Ae Beach—also called Long Beach—stretches about 4 kilometers along Koh Lanta's western shore, just south of Klong Dao. The sand slopes gradually into the sea, making it forgiving for swimmers and families. It's the second major beach on the island and draws a steady crowd of travelers looking for a gentler alternative to the busier northern stretches.
