Station 1 at the northern end of White Beach has the most prestigious resort addresses — Discovery Shores Boracay and Shangri-La Boracay (on the adjacent Balinghai Beach) are the island's benchmark luxury properties, and the northern beach is calmer and less crowded than Station 2. Station 2 has the widest range of mid-range hotels, the most convenient access to D'Mall shopping and restaurants, and the busiest beach atmosphere. Station 3 in the south has the most affordable accommodation — guesthouses and small hotels within walking distance of the same White Beach at significantly lower prices. Shangri-La Boracay on Balinghai Beach (north of Station 1) is the most exclusive option, with a private cove, elevated clifftop position, and the full Shangri-La resort standard.

Station 1 is best for couples, honeymooners, and travellers seeking quiet luxury — the northern end of White Beach is calmer, the resorts are more exclusive, and the atmosphere is significantly less hectic than the central beach. Station 2 is best for travellers who want to be in the middle of the action — immediate access to D'Mall, the highest concentration of restaurants and bars, and the social heart of the island. Station 3 is best for budget travellers — the cheapest accommodation, a quieter section of beach, and easy tricycle access to the busier central areas when you want them.

Bulabog Beach on the east side of the island has a small collection of guesthouses and budget resorts specifically catering to the kitesurfing and windsurfing community. These are functional and inexpensive rather than luxurious — most guests base here during habagat (southwest monsoon, May–October) when White Beach is rough and Bulabog has the best wind conditions. During amihan season (November–April), most visitors prefer White Beach accommodation, and Bulabog is treated as a day destination accessed by tricycle.
