Beyond sailing and snorkelling, Boracay offers a full menu of motorised watersports for those wanting a bigger thrill. Parasailing lifts you by parachute high above the turquoise water for sweeping views of the island, usually launched from a boat offshore. The 'flyfish' and banana-boat rides drag groups across the waves on inflatables, jet-skis are available for hire, and there are speedboat and 'extreme' rides for the adrenaline-hungry. A gentler but memorable option is helmet diving (also called sea walking): wearing a weighted helmet fed with air from the surface, even non-swimmers can walk along the shallow seabed and hand-feed fish, no diving experience needed. Most of these activities are run from operators along White Beach and from the Bulabog side, booked on the spot or through the many tour desks around D'Mall. Prices vary, so it's worth comparing and confirming what's included before committing.
