Boracay sights
Diniwid Beach
A small, secluded cove just north of White Beach, reached on foot along a cliffside path or by tricycle. Quieter and more intimate, with a handful of boutique resorts and one of the island's loveliest sunset spots.
About
Diniwid Beach is a small, pretty cove tucked just around the headland at the northern end of White Beach, and it offers a quieter, more intimate alternative without straying far from the action. You can reach it on foot in about ten minutes from Station 1 along a narrow cliff-hugging concrete path that passes a famous rock-cut passage, or by a short tricycle ride. The beach itself is only a few hundred metres long, backed by lush green cliffs and a handful of boutique hotels and beach restaurants built into the rocks, which gives it a secluded, almost private feel. The same fine white sand and clear water as White Beach, but with a fraction of the crowds, make it a favourite for couples and anyone wanting calm. Like the rest of the west coast it faces the sunset, and a drink at one of its cliffside bars as the sky turns colour is one of Boracay's quieter pleasures.
