Boracay sights
Mount Luho Viewpoint
The highest point on Boracay, with a viewing deck around 100 m above the sea looking out over the island, the Caticlan channel, and the surrounding blue water and green hills. The best panoramic vantage on the island.
About
Mount Luho is the highest point on Boracay, rising in the island's central-east interior above Bulabog Beach, and its viewing deck — at around 100 metres above sea level — offers the best panorama on the island. From the railed platform you look out over the green hills and the length of Boracay, across to Bulabog's lagoon dotted with kitesurfers, and out over the channel toward Caticlan and the islands of mainland Panay, with the deep blues of the surrounding sea filling the view. It is reached by a short, steep road best tackled by tricycle, motorbike, or a sweaty walk, and there is a small entrance fee. The site has expanded over the years with extra viewing decks and small attractions, but the simple draw remains the elevated 360-degree view, which is especially good in the clear light of morning or late afternoon and makes a quick, rewarding break from the beaches.
