November is one of Guam's most underrated months. The wet season is nearly over, rainfall drops significantly, and the island returns to excellent beach weather — but the peak season crowds and prices haven't arrived yet. A genuine sweet spot.

Village fiestas are common in November — ask locally about upcoming patron saint celebrations for an authentic experience.
common questions
Late November is an excellent time to visit — weather is good, prices are 15–25% lower than peak season, and the island is far less crowded. It's particularly good for beach activities, snorkeling, and exploring the south of the island.
December is drier and has better beach conditions, but it's also peak season with higher prices and more crowds. Late November offers 80–90% of December's weather quality at noticeably lower prices and fewer tourists.
Pack summer clothing for all of November, with a light rain jacket for the first half of the month. By late November the rain becomes rare and you can travel light. Sunscreen is important as UV levels increase again as the dry season approaches. November is an excellent month for exploring the island by rental car — pack comfortable shoes for walking around southern villages and historical sites.
Late November is excellent for beach activities, snorkelling (visibility improving week by week), exploring the south of the island (Merizo, Umatac, Inarajan), and cultural sightseeing. Rental cars are easy to get and uncrowded roads make self-driving enjoyable. Thanksgiving is a good time to experience local Guam hospitality — many residents celebrate with large family gatherings that occasionally welcome visitors through community events.
