Sirao Flower Garden
The 'Little Amsterdam of Cebu' — a hillside farm of celosia (cockscomb), sunflowers, and other blooms laid out in bright rows, with windmills, swings, and photo props. A colourful, family-friendly stop in the cool Busay highlands.
About
Sirao Flower Garden, in the cool hills of Busay above Cebu City, is nicknamed the 'Little Amsterdam of Cebu' for its bright, orderly rows of blooms set against the highland scenery. The signature flower is the celosia (cockscomb), whose dense, flame-like heads in red, orange, yellow, and pink create the vivid carpets that fill visitors' photos, alongside seasonal sunflowers, marigolds, and other varieties. Originally a commercial flower farm supplying Cebu's markets — especially for All Saints' Day — it grew into a full-blown tourist attraction as its photogenic fields went viral, and it has since added windmills, oversized props, swings, and viewing decks designed for pictures. It is unashamedly a photo-op destination rather than a place of deep history, but it is colourful, family-friendly, and inexpensive, and the cool climate is a pleasant break from the lowland heat. It sits close to the Temple of Leah and other Busay viewpoints, so the three are easily combined.
