questions & answers

Frequently Asked Questions

Which villages in Guam have the best spas?

Tumon and Tamuning have the highest concentration of spas. Tumon's luxury resort hotels — including the Hilton, Dusit Thani, Westin, and Outrigger — house full-service destination spas. Tamuning has a strong day spa scene with local options like Guam Royal Spa, H2O Spa, Lagoon Spa, and Spa & Wellness Guam offering competitive rates. Other villages have limited dedicated spa facilities.

Do I need to be a hotel guest to use resort spas in Guam?

No — most resort spas in Tumon accept bookings from non-guests. SPA ayualam at the Hilton Guam (voted Guam's Best Resort Spa 2024 by World Spa Awards) and Mandara Spa at the Outrigger are open to walk-in bookings. Advance reservations are strongly recommended, especially during peak season (January–March).

Are there affordable spa options outside the Tumon resorts?

Yes — Tamuning's day spas offer 60-minute massages from $50–$80, significantly cheaper than resort spas which typically start at $120–$150. Guam Royal Spa in Tamuning also offers unique treatments including far-infrared sauna and moxibustion therapy. Budget-friendly Korean-style body scrub studios are also available in Tamuning.
